Re: Agile Books - Suggestions?

chris payne wrote:"The Professional ScrumMaster's Handbook" by Stacia Viscardi is also a very good book!
I found a free downloadable version, pdf, and quickly went over it after I downloaded a copy. Very good, thanks for the recommendation.

Re: Agile Methodologies NOT for Large-Scale Projects

Well, it was interesting that you posted the link to the article, but you did not mention the "response" article,

Don't you think?

Re: Waterfall or Scrum? And why?

I am not sure that the newer techniques are better! Agile promtes continuous delivery, which can be good for the client, but ends up creating lots of defects. In many agile projects I've been involved with, the defect list has grown faster than it can be dealt with, regardless of the good intention...

Re: Possibly wrong subject - Software Development

I know this is not a nuclear/energy type issue, but I have a question and I hope someone here might be able to help. The company I work for is in the process of revamping some of our core software and we have been having some long arguments as to whether we should use the classic, tried-and-proven ...

Re: Post Fukushima Requirements

Excellent uploads, Pleonat. Presentation copies are not as useful as full, detailed reports, but I went through this one and was surprised to see that one of the things they are recommending is the use of water canons to spray the top of the reactor building after an accident, so they can reduce the...

Lots of people feel pretty much the same way. TEPCO has really made a bad situation, worse!

OscarG, this says "new" limits. How do they compare to the old limits? Any idea?

Re: Fukushima Apocalypse

NALarsen, I understand what you are saying, but how about the specific issues the report raises? The author may NOT be any more certain about the apocalypse, that TEPCO is about what they are going to do, but how about these (from the report) - Can you address any of these directly, instead of just ...
