I did work for S&W (SWEC) for a few years right out of college, so most probably you have the right Paris :-) The group was called Radiation Protection.

I also had a chance to both study with and later work with George for a while. Not only a great scientist, but a also a good person. I saw that he was honored by HPS. It could not have happened to a better person!

Re: Which PM Certification?

Re: Typical Scrum Sprint Length?

I believe that 4 week sprints is what scrum (Ken Schwaber) prescribes as a good sprint. However, we have used 1,2,3 and 4 week sprints and our experience has been a that: 1 week sprint is sometimes too short to complete the team commitments, 2 weeks appears to be the sweet spot for most projects. Re: Software Architecture Styles Info ??

The user interfaces with the website and the website ferries info back and forth to one or more databases, crunches some results and communicated the results to the user.

Re: Agile Triangle, what is it?

There are many versions of the "triangle" that people use. Traditional plan-driven projects are based on the triangle of Time, Cost and Quality. All requirements have to be accounted for in the requirement phase and then the project is planned around the expected features to be delivered w...
