Re: Random - TI59 Web Site

I thought some of the posters here may appreciate this. I found an emulator for the TI 59. I believe that it supports all the programming aspects, as well. Enjoy! Do you know if it also supports Printer, Debug and magnetic card simulation? I know there was an emulator that did, but not sure if this...

Re: Random - TI59 Web Site

Re: Big Data Intro book?

It is. I guess I am looking for the ultimate source that explains *everything* in a way that *everyone* understands it, but that's hard to find :-)

Big Data Intro book?

Does anyone know of a good introductory book to Big Data? I've been looking around and found some, but they are either too theoretical, or they assume that you are already familiar with the subject.

Re: Problems setting up Drupal

Nicholas, I haven't seen any discussion here on Drupal or similar tools, so I'm not sure if it's the right forum for your question. Having said that, I have tried to also load it multiple times and have ended up with a partial installation each time, and that's after spending hours on it. It is very...

Re: Tools for creating architect diagrams?

I've used dia in the past and found it pretty good (did not use it for architect diagrams though).

I have also used modelio, which is a java-based diagramming program and found it very good.

AaronRt, your description is more in line of what I think of, when I think of a software architect.

Re: Which PM Certification?

I wouldn't bother with this agile stuff. For my money, the PMP certification from PMI is the only one worth anything. Why do you think they are totally unrelated? Good PM is good PM, no matter the approach used! There is actually a series of interesting articles that you may want to take a look at,...
