Re: Types of Agile?

Thanks, Aaron. I know that I can search the web for info on Agile, but it's different if someone familiar with it provides some starting point. It makes it easier since there is at least some sort of validation. If you have any documents that would be good for someone who is starting Agile, can you ...

Types of Agile?

Wow, the moderator was very prompt in keeping his/her promise. The new section is already here!!! I know that some of these questions were addressed in the other thread, but the subject was messed up, so I decided to ask it here, more directly. How many different types of "Agile" are there?

Thanks for the info, Phil. BTW, I just got this from the moderator!!! Re: New section for software and Agile Sent: Sat May 24, 2014 6:01 pm From: Moderator To: jerryt We appear to be getting a number of requests for such a new section. We will see if we can add one in the next day, or so, and we'll ...

Re: Possibly wrong subject - Software Development

Ah, another good argument, it reminds me of the arguments about what is the best programming language. :) I have had exposure to PM for the last 15 years and I've been involved with waterfall, scrum, Kanban,... I have to say that I still haven't made up my mind what is better. Each time I think the...

Re: confusing forum structure

Well, I don't make those decisions, but I don't think that Trius wants to set up a database of documents, as such, because that probably involves a good level of effort in maintaining it, supporting it, etc. The way ti is now, users may upload whatever document they feel would be useful to others h...

confusing forum structure

Don't know who is responsible for the forums structure here, but it is very confusing. The miscellaneous sections has threads about document downloads, the energy section has threads about document downloads, some forums are specifically named after specific products, etc. Someone need to take a clo...

Re: SCILAB 5.3.3

I don't think aseasy handles any more than 20x20 matrices, but how many times do you have systems of twenty equations to solve? Come on, let's be realistic. I still say that for the majority of cases aseasy is more than adequate. I'm sure scilab has its place in the selection of analytic tools, as w...

Re: SCILAB 5.3.3

Excellent thread. I am very new to SCILAB, having worked with a number of "classic" programming languages in the past, and I find it very powerful. While trying to learn how to use this wonderful tool, I am going through some simple applications and one of them is giving me a hard time. I...

Re: Worked Out Samples

Marytw, were these part of the aseasy distributed package? I am asking because I think I still have the 3-1/2" disk the program cam on, somewhere. If you think they were there, I can fire up an old XP system I have and see if I can read the disk and get the files for you. No guarantee that I ca...

Re: AS-EASY-AS for Windows - Free!

Ok, I see. It just seemed weird. Do you think there are any plans by TRIUS to revive these products, or are they gone forever? If they don't plan to revive them, do you think they might release the source code to forge, or something, so others may revive them?

Re: AS-EASY-AS for Windows - Free!

What is the purpose of posting this message and making this program available? It doesn't even work in Win 7.
