Re: GIS Technology

The Undertow forums don't seem to be working very well, so I am wondering. If the companies are related, can we ask mapping/GIS questions here? Are the Undertow people also visiting this forum?

Re: GIS Technology

Just wanted to post that I was talking to one of their customers and was told that both companies appear to be owned by the same group of people. TRIUS does most of the core development and Undertow does the end product development for the mapping and GIS.

More Data Center Info

It's interesting to see that there is interest in these forums, about Data Centers. Actually, there seems to be a lot of interest in Data Centers, in general, in the on-line community. And, a lot of that interest appears to be centered around efficiently supplying these data centers with power. Anyw...

Re: Japan to abandon nuclear!

New York Times posted an article this weekend about Japan abandoning nuclear by 2040. http://www.nytimes.com/2012/09/15/world/asia/japan-will-try-to-halt-nuclear-power-by-the-end-of-the-2030s.html?pagewanted=all Not sure I believe this, just like I didn't really believe the government reports during...

Re: Energy Technology

* UPDATE * I had sent a private message to the moderator about this and he/she responded to me. Although I still don't know what exactly TRIUS does in the energy technology area, I thought I might share their response with you. I hope I am not violating some sort of forums rule by doing so! TRIUS' a...

Re: GIS Technology

Thanks for the link. I see on their web site that they develop mapping technology and didn't see any specific products, that's why I was wondering.

GIS Technology

I have seen some references to TRIUS' involvement in developing GIS technology, but I don't see were one can get such technology. The only place it appears one can do that is on the Undertow site, and I see here that all/most TRIUS technology is licensed by Untertow. Is that true, or is there some o...
