Re: 11 Facts about the real Fukushima holocaust
Interesting. Isn't this the same site that proves 9/11 was a US government set-up? Does it also claim Americans never landed on the moon? And lots of other similar "truths"? Your credibility is reduced more with each posting of such links

Food-Agriculture effected by radiation - Q&A
Since there is all this renewed talk about Fukushima and the environment and contaminated food, etc. I thought I'd post this link which has some useful information.

Re: Fukushima on the Hudson
So every time you say something negative and people point out that you, or the information you have, is wrong, you go dig out something else. Hmm... I've seen this approach before :-) Here is an interview of a person that was there. A person that was trained to deal with radiation. Take a look! http...

Re: Fukushima - A Weapon's Site ??
Can you please stop posting such garbage? It's fine to be anti-nuclear and to want to have a discussion about it, but it's another thing to be posting such drivel. I hope the administrator of these forums takes notice and tries to discourage these posts.

Howard, as others have told you in different message threads, don't take everything you read as "the truth" because then you end up saying, "it's not my fault, I didn't write the report"

Re: Fukushima radiation is killing hundreds of whales!
Pleonat, thank you for posting these links. I seriously was not aware that people make these things up just so that they can promote their cause! I am all for people disagreeing and championing some cause, but not by making things up. Can't someone legally stop them?

Re: Fukushima Apocalypse
Derek, I don't want to talk for NALarsen, but that's exactly the point that was being made, wasn't it? The issues you list from the report are indeed serious, but the way the report author is presenting them implies that they "know" more about them that TEPCO knows about how things will go...

Dhimmer, here are the numbers you are looking for, since HowardE didn't have them handy ;-) They are widely available, just do a google search... Hope they help in understanding the relative risks. Energy Source Death Rate (deaths per TWh) OLD -------------------- -----------------------------------...

Re: Another MCNP Primer/Tutorial
Thank you very much. This place is great - I have been looking for a while and haven't been able to locate similar documents. I just wish the admin organized all this wealth of documents in one place, so we can download them easier. I'm sure I have missed some interesting/important documents because...

Re: Looking for MCNP for Dummies info
Well, I didn't really mean "for Dummies", I meant for people that are not familiar with MCNP and the Monte Carlo sampling methodology, in general. There must be some descent introductory text books out there, for sure. The don't have to be "free" technical papers/reports -though ...

Re: Good reference document for using Scilab and "C"
Well, at least most students are because it's usually provided for them by the university (they get a license for all students). However, many also play with SciLab.
