Re: Any good info on Fault Trees?
Thanks, Pleonat. I also did a couple of google searches and found dozens of additional documents. Of course, the problem is that not all of it is "good" information, so shifting through it and deciding what is helpful and what is junk, is my task-at-hand :-) But, that's typical of the new ...

Any good info on Fault Trees?
I saw a bunch of uploads about PRA, so I figured there might be some info on fault trees here, as well. I searched, but couldn't find any posted. Are there any such documents, here? Both Fault Trees and Event Trees are of interest to me.

Re: New, small, self-contained nuclear plants
Why would something like this be preferable to a 100 MW or 200 MW unit, i.e., the more mainstream SMRs proposed?
Also, I saw something about them pulling out from the DOE SMR program, or something like that. Any idea why?

Re: NRC - Post Fukushima - External Events
Well, this is great and sounds good, but other that a pretty complete list of what utilities are affected, this is not very informative. All it says is that you have to address these 3 stages of the problem, but there is NO GUIDANCE on how to address them or what would constitute an acceptable solut...
