Good (free?) FTA Software?

Post by MikeTil »

What software package would you recommend for someone who is starting in Fault Tree Ananysis? I did a quick internet search and got thousands of hits, but it would be impossible to make a decision based solely on the info on the internet.

Some personal experience and guidance would go a long way. So, any recommendations?

Right in the Downloads section! Those are the only two platforms it's available for.

BTW, I downloaded and tried to install the linux version multiple times on Ubuntu and Puppy (a Xubuntu variation), but after wasting many hours I gave up. Fared muh better with the Windows version (well, as far as installing goes).
